Him: First up, MA2. A solid 2 hrs, solving up to 6 questions. What are your thoughts on that?
Me: Well, going into that paper, we were in a very good position. The questions were not that difficult, the first five at least. We did all we could and we are confident we can score enough points. For the last question, well, we are not so sure, but I guess we will see when the final result comes out.
Him: How do you think the others did?
Me: Well, really how the others did is not my concern. That is the grader's concern. I have done all I could and I believe the others have as well, so it's all up to the grader to decide how he wants to rank us in the class. For sure we would like to be at the top, but that is not ours to decide.
Him: Moving on to ODE. Killer paper, everyone thought. Were you confident when you went in, and was it a killer for you as well?
Me: Again, for this one, we were in a very good position going into this. We are amongst the top, and so if we could keep up the momentum, then it will be a very good result for us. But unfortunately, yeah the paper was a killer and so it was very difficult to solve those problems. I got stuck even on the first question itself, so that tells you how tough it was. But hopefully since everyone thought it was a tough one, hopefully it's not going to be that bad. But the damage is already done, and we can only hope and pray for the best.
Him: NLP was an interesting one. Tell us about that.
Me: Well for this one, we were not really sure what to expect. The midterm went extremely horrible, so we really had to give it our all for this final. And what happened was that we did exactly that, and surprisingly everything went well for us. The questions were not really that difficult, just that probably there wasn't enough time to get down the solutions properly. But in any case, we are not getting too carried away. Plus it's over now, so there's nothing we can do except wait.
Him: Alright, thank you very much for your time.
Me: Thanks.
