Abba sang the song "Fernando". The first line of the song was "Can you hear the drums fernando?"
Well. I think that's sort of like, incorporated as Ong Jae "Fernando Torres" Wen's theme song already...
It just struck my mind that by altering the first line of that popular Abba song, we can tell many many stories. For example...
"Can you score the goals, Fernando?" - Fernando Torres
"Can you win the race, Fernando?" - Fernando Alonso
"Can you block the shots, Fernando?" - Fernando Couto
"Can you make the serve, Fernando?" - Fernando Verdasco
"Can you sing the songs, Fernando?" - Fernando Ortega
"Can you paint a scene, Fernando?" - Fernando Botero
"Can you play the role, Fernando?" - Fernando del Rincon
Cool, eh? After much reading, I found out that the song Fernando is actually about two veteran soldiers reminiscing about the past. How about that for no link!!
Still, for now, OFTJW's catchphrase shall be "Can you hear the drums Fernando?" Hey, maybe I can introduce it in YDP this year, just like how I introduced SMASHing for Eunice... haha...
Till next time. Falcon, OUT!!!
