I just came across the mail.com news saying that Miley Cyrus and Heidi Montag are somewhat flaming Hilton, telling her that gay and lesbians are fine and should be accepted.

Now that in itself it not a surprise, as we can see it's somewhat a growing trend in the world, especially in the USA nowadays. Now, what makes me LMHO (laugh my head off), is this.. BOTH Cyrus and Montag used the (wait for it... drum roll...chimes... )

THE BIBLE!!!

to defend their position on homosexuality!!! Listen to this:

"God says in the bible that we should love our neighbor and he created us all as equals. I know in my heart that gays and lesbians should have the same government rights that Spencer and I will when we get married. So, yes, this blonde Christian believes in gay marriage and I hope to one day go to YOUR wedding, Perez!!!"

This was from Montag. Cyrus here even used Jesus and the whole God-love-you thing... Check it:

Alright, let's dissect Montag's comment first. She starts off by saying "God says in the bible..." and then what does she do? "I know in my heart..." Oh wow. How convenient!! Start with GOD SAYS!! then suddenly use your heart as authority, as if "your heart" has the same authority as "the Bible".

Now isn't this the same typical response we're getting from so many people nowadays? Use the Bible and claim that God created everyone equal. Then conclude that because of that, homosexuality is fine.

My dear Montag, please read 1 Cor 6:9-10. Please, please, oh please, do not abuse the Bible by taking only 1 part of it and leaving the other. Know that, "the sum of God's word is truth" (Psalms 119:160), and not just a part of it.

Now, Cyrus' comments are something like what a false teacher would say. Take some truth, and mix it with lies, and people can't tell the difference! Someone give her an award for being able to apply Game Theory so aptly in religious topics!!!

Of course Jesus loves you. Of course God loves you. But that does not mean God loves your sins too. A sin is a sin. If you really do love God, you would do as He says (John 14:15).

As Hagrid puts it... "There's a storm coming... We'd best be prepared for it when it comes."

(P/s: Some Liverpool fans may be gutted by Liverpool's 4-4 draw with Arsenal. Relax. It makes not much diff. MU still has to lose 2 matches. I see a potential in their Arsenal game. Another, I have no idea. That's why I STILL think MU will take it again this season... So please don't shoot me)
