Imagine this:
You and your soon-to-be spouse are looking for a house to stay. You search and search and search, and then you find the place. It's just perfect. Not too far from the city center, efficient public transportation, easy links in and around the place, not that isolated. Good, you think to yourself.
One problem though: The house is on auction. It will go to the highest bidder. Argh, you think. No matter what, you MUST get that house. You place a bid as high as you know you can afford. 1 week later, you found out you got the house. Great!!! Wonderful!!!
But then, the general election has just ended and your state, which was all along run by the government was taken over by the opposition parties. That means the subsidy for the house is off. The next day, you find that stock markets drop heavily due to concern over political instability. Banks raise interest rates to attract savings. Oh no. Just when you thought you got the house, you just might be overburdened in terms of the refinancing... Uh-oh...
You see, the thing is, sometimes even when things go the way we planned, bad things eventually happen...
The above situation... may be what's happening to some Malaysians at this moment in time...
