Remind me NOT to hire a girl like Ruiqi as our tour guide next time we go out...
Just tonight, we went around NTU to distribute tracts for the gospel meeting in December... Ruiqi has been a student there since last year, and this is her 2nd sem there... but who knew she was NOT still familiar with the place...
We walked around distributing from one block to another, and when we came to a certain place, we ALL had the feeling that we've been here before... yes, ALL of us... we remember it well... the zebra crossing, the pond, the vending machine... YES, we walked a whole round and back there again, only 1 person couldn't see it... HER. Yup, that's right. HER.
"We haven't do this place yet!!!" she says...
"Yes, we have!!! I remember the pond!!!"
"No lah, that's a different pond..."
Different pond. Yeah, right. And before that, she even announced herself as our tour guide... ROFL!!! Tour guide...
Oh, then... we were waiting for Ruiqi to come back from the other end of the block, and as she was approaching us, she took out her phone and called Benjamin...
Then, Benjamin's phone rang... alright... his phone rang... but then... she was right in front of him!!!! Oh, the blur-case-ness!!! Who knew those sleepless nights and overtime working would take a toll on such a hard, rock-solid girl like her...
Then again, she ain't so hard and rock-solid after all... "P

Been really into this song by Dan Fogelberg for a while now... "Leader of the Band", the title... it's a nice song he wrote which he dedicated to his father... reminds me of my father as I listen and sing along... sigh... I miss my home... I miss the kon loh mee with curry chicken... I miss the sweet smelling aroma and the heavenly taste of Klang Bak Kut Teh... I miss the nasi lemak just outside my house... I miss my bed...
I'm going home soon!!!!!!!!! Can't wait!!!
