Several factors influence the rate of reaction, namely, concentration, state of subdivision, temperature, pressure, and CATALYST...
Usually, the catalyst must be present in the reaction so as to lower the activation energy...
In university, however, we see that the absence of parents have seemed to catalysed certain reactions... we see that guys and girls are mixing about more freely... so in this case, the absence of such is the catalyst...
