In a way, it's like homecoming month in June and July... the Chin family are back!!! Then... Siyan will be coming back in July... then... my couz will be back from England... with my very first nephew/niece!!! ...and more importantly, my MCFLY CD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then... yeah... so I guess it's only appropriate that I write about homecoming...
You know, they say, there's no place like home... no matter what you do, or where you are... you'll definitely miss home... the smell of it, the environment, the feeling... it's like no other... when you're in Malaysia, Malaysia will always be the best!!! Think about it... where can you find shopping malls that close after 1 am, and if there are any customers they chase them out before they close??? Or that it's probably the only place a thing like "mamak" exists... or that we have so many holidays in a year just because Malaysia is a multi-racial country which respects all ethnic groups, religions and cultures???
I'm telling you, if you try and find something like that in other parts of the world, you tell me... It'll probably be the day frogs can do math and the day I start eating my shoe... Ok, maybe I won't... but seriously...
1 month later, I will make my trip downunder to further my studies... people say I won't wanna come back after that, but really, I'll miss Klang so much I could cry every night... I'll miss the bak kut teh... I'll miss my bed... I'll miss my parents... I'll miss my brothers and sisters... I'll miss the church... sigh...
I guess it's true when they say you don't know what you got till it's gone... and when it is, all you're left with are memories... nothing but faint, distant memories...
I guess the questions we should ask ourselves is, what will we do with the memories??? Will we continue to look back and say "if only", or will we look back and say, "I'm glad I did that" or "It was fun while it lasted..."???
I guess that's up to us, huh...
(kinda strayed from the topic, but, oh well!)
