I stayed up late to watch the Liverpool-Chelsea semifinal clash... I knew it was like, a very difficult match, with Liverpool 1-0 down from the 1st leg at Stamford Bridge, and what's worse, failing to get that precious away goal...
I wore my Gerrard shirt as Chelsea kicked off the match... 5 minutes later, I could've thought we got our goal... but Gerrard didn't manage to put the ball at the back of the net... I kept cheering them on everytime they got the ball... as they played, I chorused with the Anfield crowd as they sang YNWA...
17 minutes later, IT happened. Joe Cole laid a clumsy tackle into our captain... He took responsibility from the free kick, laid a low straight ball into the edge of the box, Agger somehow just went across it and slotted it home.
GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah, 1-1 on aggregate... now just one more will seal it for us....
(To be honest, I was looking at a 7-goal rout the way MU did Roma... because I was sensing Liverpool would want 3 just in case Chelsea score, and the momentum will just keep going...)
But that didn't happen... at the 1st period of ET, you knew... that's right, YOU knew, mr "Special One", that that was it... the 2nd goal from Kuyt... but then the goal was ruled offside when it wasn't... lucky YOU... too bad, your luck ran out...
For so long Chelsea have gotten away with sneaking late goals and just winning it... well, they're not gonna get away this time... not with a club like Liverpool...
We won in the end, beating Chelsea 4-1 on penalties...
That was the sweet memory...
Meanwhile, while Reina was saving penalties and securing Liverpool a trip to Athens on 23 May, burglars ransacked his house, stealing stuff and burning down his Porsche with a Spanish license plate...
Meanwhile #2, I found out that some of me friends recently died in a car accident... reportedly, some crazy guy of theirs was driving at 170km/h on the highway, and was trying to answer his phone... then he crashed and killed all of them... HE, however, is in the ICU, and lost both his legs...
You'd think this is another reminder to live life to the fullest, but living for 18 years, I think I got enough of that by now... the question I'm asking is... WHY, DUDE... WHY 170??? Speeding is bad enough, but trying to answer a phone while driving??? Dude!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In case you haven't noticed, I'm absolutely furious at this guy... this accident could well be avoided... by slowing down the car and NOT trying to answer the phone... some people just don't get the fact that the laws are there for a reason... not to bind us or make our lives difficult, but to protect us!!!
To those still alive and have a well-kept brain, please take note of this...
