If you never understood Malay, then you'd never know that Genting means critical... "keadaan genting" means critical situation... "titik genting" means critical point... So what does Genting Highlands mean??? lol... CRITICAL HIGHLANDS!!! lol... anyways, that's where I went for the past 2 days...
Though it was only 2 days, it was like, kinda more memorial then other times... only coz I'm seeing more things in a different perspective now than before...
Went to this Fly show in The Pavilion... kinda cool performance with all the bungee jumpers and dancers and all... enjoyed the storyline too... ENJOYED THE SONIC BLADDERS THE MOST!!! Man, they're awesome!!! I mean like... they actually roller-bladed downhill and can make themselves small enough to pass through hoops and land on their feet!!! Though some of them screwed up several stunts, it was still great!!! Though the magic wasn't really good... just mere disappearing and reappearing acts... not counting the final illusion, the classical cutting a person in half... how old is that!!! zzz...
Anyways, I never knew Hainanese liked to eat Western Food... We went to this Hainan Kitchen for dinner... guess what they were serving??? On their menu were stuff like "Cream of Mushroom", "Chicken Chop", "Sizzling Pork Chop", etc... On the other hand... there WERE stuff like "Fish n Chips HAINANESE STYLE (lol)" and ba zhang n all those... they even took all the normal food and added the word "Hainanese style"... zzzzzzzzz..................
So, I ordered this Black Pepper Sirloin Steak... medium done... that's right... medium... but guess what??? Check this out...
Yup, such a bloody cow!!! Looks more like medium rare to me... sigh...
Oh ya, did I mention there was 1 thing on my mind throughout our entire stay there??? I was kinda hoping I could "bump into" the Football Crazy gang... coz PJ Roberts went to Genting the other time for some Random Predictor... then I can go like, "hey, you're PJ!!! I've seen you on football crazy n tiger fc locker room!!! hey, if i take a pic with u and send a copy to nfc, do i get a chance to be on the show???" But, sigh... dreams never come true... for me...
Anyways, I brought Colleen N Neatherington along with me too!!! We slept together in our very own room!!! Me parents took another room!!! Yay!!! A whole room to ourselves... wow... and I had a strange dream during my stay there too... yikes... I kinda hope that dream doesn't come true... EVER!!! It'll be so... so... *sob sob*... so... unbearable... but hey! Dreams never come true for me, so it's cool!!! I think...
So like, another thing... NEVER EAT AT THE FIRST WORLD CAFE BUFFET!!! It's so... not that it wasn't good... but, it was... unappetizing... I mean like, even if I'm full, the good food would still motivate me to go on, but this one... sigh... I wasn't really filled and one helping and I don't feel like going for seconds anymore... we ended up eating fruits... sigh... I noticed this Indian couple in front of our table, came in, ate a plate of rice and some dishes and after that, left... imagine that... They came later than us but left earlier... sigh...
Went to the Cultural Village after that!!! Guess what we found at the Taiwan booth??? SPONGY!!!!! and Nightmare Before Christmas... and Shin Chan... now I wonder what those stuffs were doing at the Taiwan area... Bought 2 Spongy keychains though.... 2!!!!!!! Myb I should give 1 to someone else... then we can have matching Spongy keychains, with which when we pull, it will vibrate!!!!! LOL!!!! Kinda like the one Vic got for Canida, except this was plastic and much smaller...
Anyways... I guess that's all for now... erm... CAN'T WAIT FOR UNCLE LONG JONG AND FAMILY TO COME TO KLANG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! haha, errr, k then... laterz!
