Few months ago, Kareen and Canida went to this place to watch this movie, which was a documentary (or was it???) on some global warming thinguppy...
Kareen, being the environmental-loving person she is, got even more fired up after watching that film... she sent emails to everyone to ask them to join this Save the Earth thinguppy on the internet... at first, I actually joined it for the sake of Kareen, but recent events have sorta opened up my eyes to a... shall we say, larger... world...
Appears the flash floods in Johor and Pahang was caused by some sudden climate changes or something... particularly the warming of the Indian Ocean... also, there have been warnings of tsunamis and more cyclones coming our way...
Never have I thought global warming would bring an effect such as this... wow... this is scary, I tell ya... SCARY!!!
But... sigh... what can I do??? Kill myself to reduce emission of CO2??? Stop using the A/C??? Use cars less often??? Seriously, what CAN we do about it???
Kareen, this is your area of expertise, though with your reports and projects and all you wouldn't be reading this anytime soon anyways... but, just in case you do... any suggestions???
