It's 3.15pm... in exactly 8 hours and 45 mins, it'll be 14th of September... 9.5 hours later, the mock exams kick off!!!
Let's do a quick review on my thoughts pre-mock exams (erm, wow, feeling like some football manager giving my thoughts before a match...)
1. ESL This being the 1st paper is a total relief to me... One of the subjects I sorta hate the most... only coz it involves writing an essay on which I have to come up with my own points...
So far, it seems I've been doing well... Erm, I tend to screw up when it comes to essays though I feel I could've done WAY WAY WAY WAY much better... Sigh...
2. Economics 2nd paper is econs and it's next Monday... how wonderful! The subject I dread the most and I got 2 extra days (well, 1 actually, sunday doesn't count) in saturday n sunday to catch up with whatever nonsense I dunno... Hoping to aim for the sun now, since Ms Revathy said she might wanna take the mocks ONLY as the internal if we do superly well... am gonna needa huge buncha luck for this one...
3. Applicable Mathematics Third up is Applicable Maths... Sigh... one word comes to mind when I hear about this subject - JUSTIFICATION!!! Yup, for a huge proportion of our paper, we'll be doing more writing then calculating... Kinda takes the fun outta Maths, doesn't it???
Hopefully I don't screw this one up like I did EE2... especially the statistics part... Totally detest it!!! Sometimes, the English (actually, my English) is so horrible I can't even understand what the nonsense they want... and I end up writing nonsense myself... This sorta feels like a 50% maths and 50% moral paper if you know what I mean...
4. Calculus Ok... this is so much better than App Maths... less essays, more equations and rationality from it...Totally dig this one! Though I must say... so far, if you don't count Topic Test 1 and the most recent TT5, I have lost 10 marks on every paper coz I was all blurred out from 1 question... 1 MISERABLY CHALLENGING question... what's worse... I haven't really beaten "EXAMS" in this subject yet even though I need to!!! Sigh... Still, I think doing this paper again is gonna be fun!!!
5. Chemistry Alright!!! Save the best for the last!!! This is my strongest scoring subject so far... Highest for mainstream, I don't see any way in which I can go wrong with this one... except probably the memorisation of the facts like extraction and commercial cells and all... and also the parts where Ms. Vanitha never touched on, like the bleaching... Hopefully I'll be able to cramp enough facts into my head to vomit it out on that day, and I'm gonna need a good essay to beat "EXAMS" on this one... Rock on, Chem!!!
Overall, I'm still feeling confident... Hopefully I can turn it around to some wonderfully, amazingly, spectacularly coolified results!!!

Once again, "EXAMS" shall be delivered into my hands!!!
