The 1st library, as far as I've known, dates back to 300 BC... Well, at least, that's what I could find on the internet... So, it's been around for more than 2000 years now... Hmmm...
Library: A place where books are kept, where people can come and read them.
That's the old definition of a library... nowadays, many changes have been made to the traditional "library"... these days, library have all kinda nonsense... computers are inserted to help people search for the books or other stuff they need... Magazines and newspapers are part of the "new" materials included... Mass computers are now part of the library, the place where they are kept for the use of the public is known as the computer lab...
Many alterations and modifications have taken place since then... but still, certain things MUST remain the same... well, they have to... otherwise, they wouldn't be called a library in the 1st place...
We gotta keep silent in the library... no matter which part of it we're in... well, except in the Discussion Room of course...:p Unfortunately, some people just don't get that...
Minutes ago, some girl talked on the phone so loud, I think the whole computer lab occupants heard her... On my left, a buncha A-levels students are making so much noise it's hard enough to read stuff on the internet here, let alone think!!!
