People who believe that one does not need to be baptized to be saved sometimes give the argument that the thief on the cross was saved, and he was not baptized!
We then say that that is not a valid argument, because the thief was still living under the Mosaic Age, under the OT Law, and hence does not require baptism.
But they came back and said Jesus actually died before the thief! So the thief was living under the Christian age!
Now then, we say that the commandment to be baptized was given AFTER Jesus was resurrected! (Matt 28:18; Mk 16:16) Therefore, again this argument is not valid.
I rest my case. FALCON, ouT!
