Have you ever had the feeling that sometimes, when you hear this song being played, it reminds you of someone? Well I do........ I always had.. and it feels weird, it's like, the tune and the lyrics suddenly bring to remembrance a certain figure in your life... Here's a list..
Ten Tenors - Rocket --> Yong Boon Kee and Zhi Hao
These people were some Shah Alam dudes that tuitioned in Delta when they were Form 3, at least, I met them in F3 class.. I remember during Science class, Mr. Ho would tell us, if they really are our friends, we would hit them if they were talking, or at the very least, tell them to shut up.. and oddly enough, that was what we did. Haha!!
Maroon 5 - This Love --> Abel Yap
Abel Yap was (or maybe still is) one of the strongest youth chess players in Malaysia.. I faced him during Selangor Junior Open in Sunway when I was in F4.. I played in the Gold category, which is for players with rating under 1600 --> i.e. highly wonderfully good players..
I started out the tournament with a win over a girl, I think it was Subra's sister or something.. but after that, it sorta went downhill.. the next day, I played and won a few matches and it got me up to the top 3.. Then I had to play Abel, who was top at that time, and so I did.. for some reason, the song was playing in my head, and I remember losing that match. No wait, did I say losing? I was totally BRUTALLY KILLED!!!
Scissors Sisters - I Can't Decide - Pua Siew Kin and B.San
Ok, this one is totally extremely crazily weirded... It just so happens Chippy was looking through some songs to sing for some graduation performance thinguppy, and so she sent me this song..
So I listened to it, and oh it contained vulgarities behind the catchy tune!!! ARGH!!! Eventually the song got stuck in my head.. and it just so happened I had to go to Eagles' Ranch for some Delta outing with the staffs.. and these 2 ladies.. Ms Pua was black, and BS was pink (refer below)... so there!!
All-4-One - So Much In Love - Kareen Lee Jianing
Right, this is.. probably the most recent.. she sent me this song, and somehow everytime I play it, it reminds me of her.. this song creates that all-famous Kareen-aura!! It's so.. obvious yet indescribable.. so clear yet difficult to explain.. well, as Kareen would put it, HEH.
Meanwhile...
Don't you just marvel at how some things just remind you of THINGS???
