The moon is in its crescent form tonight...
I just came back from the 2nd and final day of the National Achievers Congress (NAC)... the NAC is an event where they invite world class speakers from all around the world to share their secrets to success and all... (and brag about how much they earned and how they can retire anytime they want)...
As I sat there, I looked down on all the participants who took the time to be there... and:
1. I realised a lot of people aren't happy or satisfied with what they have that they want to make more money and become richer...
2. They paid hundreds of ringgit just to hear people teach them how to be rich (I got my tix for free btw... :) )
3. How crazy these people are about making more and more money and they think (as they were told by some of the speakers) that they can earn millions without working a single day...
Seriously, I can't believe they even thought it was possible!!! I mean, you can just look at them being wow-ed by those speakers thinking how can these people be so gullible to fork out tens of thousands of ringgit just to buy their products to learn these kinda stuff...
This guy, Dr Clemen Chiang, talked about how you can use the Gap Theory to invest and earn about 5000-7000+% in just 1 night... and he even put out testimonials from his students about it... sigh... you think it's that easy??? How many seeds does an apple tree produce??? How many eggs does a fish lay??? A lot!!! Why??? Because most of them fail to grow!!! Likewise, how many times do you need to make the right investment just to gain that amount of money??? How much relentless research do you need to make such an accurate prediction??? And how sure are you that is it EXACTLY every 40 years that baby bloomers are born??? You think beginning 2009 the market will experience recession and downturn for 14 years??? Hello... are you forgetting the Commonwealth Games in 2010??? and the World Cup/Olympics in 2012??? How could you have predicted the Sept 11 attacks???
To T. Harv Eker, money is NOT the root of all evil, the love of money is... and YOU cannot create YOUR own destiny ALONE!!! If you keep believing that, you'll start to think you don't need anybody, and we all know what happens from there... seriously, stop being so arrogant just because you earn a million US dollars every weekend and think all that you say is true... c'mon, you're not God... only God is...
To sum it up, really, if you've accumulated that much wealth after all that period of time, what do you do with it??? I mean, is that the whole purpose in life??? What happens when you die??? Where does your wealth go to???
