The moon tonight is... NOT full! Haha... gotcha there... it's half... there's a half moon in the sky tonight... haha!
Anyways, I went to Paradise for dinner... no, not the place where people go when they die, I'm talking about Paradise Restaurant... lolz... there was this new Penang food stall... and I ordered and ate my 1st ever asam laksa!!! lolz... can you imagine??? 18 years living in Malaysia and I've never tasted asam laksa before... haha! I took the first mouth... hmmm, pretty cool... I drank the soup... hmmm... rich! Wow, amazing... but well, that was at first...
Minutes later, you could actually see... tears flowing down my eyes, sweat running down my sides... my nose started to get all runny... the only thought in my mind was "hot... hot... water... water..." and all I could do was suck the straw of my herbal tea in which wasn't really cold since I asked the guy to cool it with the ice... and he only put 1 cube in it... ugh...
But hey, it was worth it!!!
We got to listen to this Penang guy talk about the old days... how the British recruited people to help them fight communists, how they had to suffer when the Japs came... all those stuff... haha! Can ya believe he was born in '39??? He was a sergeant in the police force! Haha!!! But he cooks pretty well too... lolz! Sigh... I wish I could cook that well... not to say I'm not learning!!! lolz...
Hmmm... asam laksa anyone??? :)
