When Mathematicians are faced with a problem, they try to find a solution to it... if they hit a road block, they backtrack to see if they missed out on any detours... Of course, this only applies to problems on paper...
In our lives, more often than not, it's impossible to backtrack, unless of course you have the power to reverse time... Which is why I believe exam papers and good grades don't really ensure your survival in the real world... They're false securities that appear to protect you, but when trouble comes, they are but a figment of your imagination...
Sometimes, it's hard to believe the Lord said "I will never leave you nor forsake you" and "Come unto Me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest" when at times, you feel He's not there when you need Him and when you need someone to help you bear that laden, suddenly you feel as if you're in a small room with no one but yourself... Then you realize your room is glass-walled and everyone is looking at you carrying that burden all by yourself, suffering... some laugh and mock you, while others only look at you with pity but without any intention whatsoever of helping...
It is during these times you remember Rom 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God and to those who are called according to His promise...
It is during these times you remember that God promised that whatever stuff that is happening is working for something better in the future... that the "fear" you had was really just (f)alse (e)vidence (a)ppearing (r)eal... Joseph waited about 20 years... Abraham waited more than a lifetime... how long will I have to wait???
Job's friends accused Job of sinning when he lost everything, but Job was sure that he didn't sin... did I sin???
One thing's for sure... I can't do this alone... HELP!!!
