Snake...
Kingdom: Anamalia
Phylum: Chordata
Class: Sauropsida
Order: Squamata
Suborder: Serpentes!!!

Consists of 3 families: Henophidia, Typhlopoidea, Xenophidia

In Greek Mythology snakes are often associated with deadly and dangerous antagonists. The 9 headed Hydra Hercules defeated and the three Gorgon sisters are literary examples. Medusa was one of the three Gorgon sisters who Perseus defeated. Medusa is described as a hideous mortal, with snakes instead of hair and the power to turn men to stone with her gaze.

India is often called the land of snakes and is steeped in tradition regarding snakes. Snakes are worshipped as gods even today with many women pouring milk on snake pits (despite snakes' aversion for milk). The cobra is seen on the neck of Shiva and Vishnu is depicted often as sleeping only on a 7 headed snake. There are also several temples in India solely for cobras sometimes called Nagraj (King of Snakes) and it is believed that snakes are symbols of fertility. There is a Hindu festival called Nagpanchami each year on which day snakes are venerated and prayed to.

A story was told about a certain Burmese Phyton... This Burmese Phyton was one day in search of food in the deep jungles of the Amazon (don't ask me how this Burmese Phyton got all the way to the Amazon, it's just a story :D)... Along came a chicken, wandering aimlessly in the woods... (Once again, no questioning)... The Phyton lined himself up, ready for attack... Yes, lunch at last, thought the Phyton... suddenly, on the other side of the river, he caught sight of an adult gazelle... oh wow, more lunch!

The Burmese Phyton started to calculate the risks of having the gazelle instead of the chicken... If he wanted the gazelle, he must have to cross the river, which is something he didn't wanna do... but it would certainly be more tasty and satisfying than this nonsensical chicken...

In this moment of delay, the chicken noticed the presence of its predator and was about to make some noise and started running...

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand that the reptile dude was running out of time... He had to make a decision... AND FAST! Or he would lose both his preys... Chicken or gazelle, gazelle or chicken, chicken or gazelle, gazelle or chicken...

The chicken, as it was about to run, suddenly turned and saw the snake gone... It was no longer hiding in the bushes... Odd, it thought... where could it have gone to??? It then heard a loud moan coming from the other side of the river...

The Burmese Phyton slithered through a tree which had branches extending to the other side and devoured the gazelle... Lunch is served...

Ok Jun Wey, now, your turn to buy me lunch!!! Bahahaha!!!
